March 24th, 2025

In Philippians 1, Paul says "to live is Christ." This Sunday, we dove into what life to the fullest really looks like, and we found that when we live and view our circumstances as FOR Christ instead of FROM Christ, we can live our best life.

Lenten Devotions

Thank you to Keith Krebs for last week's devotion: Unity by Way of Humility
Practicing Contentment
Philippians 4:11-12 {13}
We will be brought low. We will face [spiritual] hunger. We will find ourselves in need. And God will provide our strength to pull us through. We shall not dwell or worry, but instead trust that God will show us the way to persevere and overcome. From Him, we will abound, be given plenty, and be surrounded by His abundant love. We will have what we need to be content in the struggle. Contentment is shared by others' generosity of spirit and service. How can we demonstrate contentment to others?
Philippians 4:8-9
Ponder upon the goodness of every day. Look for the light, however small or seemingly insignificant and allow it to shine into your heart and transform your perspective. Recognizing these things in our life is a way of praising God and honoring what He has done for us and for others around us.
