March 10th, 2025

This Sunday we kicked off our new series, Flip the Script. We started off in the Book of Philippians and talked about the importance of taking the long-view when it comes to our faith. Though we often want results now, it's important for us to remember that God is still working in all of our lives.

Lenten Devotions

The Lenten Journey:
As we journey through the Lenten season, it provides opportunity for self reflection and growth as we walk toward the cross.
Paul in ( Phil. 2: 5) states “Let this mind be in you, which is also in Christ Jesus."
The hymn writer, Isaac Watts, while preparing for a communion service certainly had the mind of Christ when he wrote,
When I survey the wondrous cross on which the Prince of Glory died,
my richest gain I count but loss, and pour contempt on all my pride.
Forbid it Lord, that I should boast, save in the death of Christ, my God.
all the vain things that charm me most, I sacrifice them to His blood.
See, from His head, His hands, His feet, sorrow and love flow mingled down;
did e’er such love and sorrow meet, or thorns compose so rich a crown?
Were the whole realm of nature mine, that were a present far too small:
love so amazing, so divine, demands my soul, my life, my all.
Can we say with Isaac Watts: “my soul, my life, my all”
May you have a blessed Lenten Season.
