Sunday Service Update from Adam

Hey Friends!
I hope you have had an AMAZING start to 2025! Here at LVfirst we have been taking a few moments to celebrate all that God did in 2024 in our church and community while also laying out BIG plans for 2025. If you were with us Sunday you heard just a little of that in the idea of finding what is lost in each of our lives. I hope this year you find your place, find your people, and find your purpose here at LVfirst. We’ll be looking at each of these ideas over the next few weeks as we unpack the story of the Prodigal together. I hope you will make plans to join us in worship for each week of this series, after all some of you are looking for that perfect attendance award…
Speaking of worship services, I know that everyone has been watching the weather nonstop this week to see if it is going to snow on Friday or not. Regardless of what actually happens, know that we will make the final decision on worship services Saturday afternoon. As of right now we are planning to have all worship services as long as it is safe to do so. If something changes we will send an email with updated information. One change for the weekend will be postponing our LV Lights workday scheduled for Saturday. We will plan to push our work days to January 18th and January 25th from 9-4 each day. This will allow plenty of time to get our campground in shape for use in the spring and summer of this year! We need as many hands as possible to make this happen so mark it on your calendars.
In the next few weeks you will begin to put out dates for a lot of the other big events that are taking place in 2025. I hope you will plan to be a part of all of the great opportunities for ministry and mission this year. Thank you for your incredible support and encouragement, know that the best is yet to come!
