Join us for Campmeeting June 16-20
Campmeeting is a tradition that began in Lawrenceville, GA, in 1832, when the Methodist Campground was founded. Each year, Campmeeting is a celebration outdoors in the open-air arbor. The week’s activities include worship, singing, fellowship and camping. All who wish to share God’s love in Christian fellowship are welcome. Please join us and let our tradition become your tradition.

How to Get There

The LVfirst Campground is located at 700 Braselton Highway in Lawrenceville, GA.

Be sure to keep an eye out as you get close - sometimes the entrance can sneak up on you! Parking is available throughout the campground, and volunteers will be around to help direct you to the nearest open parking.

Campmeeting Meals

One of the best things about Campmeeting is getting to the LVfirst Campground early to have dinner with friends and family. On Sunday, the LV Men will be providing hotdogs and sides to kick off the week! Tuesday will be our famous Potluck dinner. Everyone is invited to partake, but we ask that you please bring a side or a dessert to share! You can place an order for a Chick-Fil-A box dinner for Thursday evening anytime before Friday, June 14th by clicking the button below.

Campmeeting Speakers

LVfirst's Campmeeting features a different speaker each evening from all over Georgia. Be sure to join us for worship on Sunday morning at 9:30AM & 11:00AM as Rev. Dr. Heather Jallad officially kicks off Campmeeting at our Modern & Traditional worship services.

Purchase a Campmeeting Tee Shirt

Each year we have Campmeeting Tee Shirts for sale. We have a limited quantity of shirts available for purchase. Secure your shirt now by placing an order online!

Any shirts not pre-ordered will be available for sale on Sunday morning in the Welcome Center as well as throughout the week each evening at the LVfirst Campground.

Campmeeting Sunday

This Sunday kicks off our week of Campmeeting. The festivities start on Sunday morning at our 9:30AM Modern & 11:00AM Traditional worship services. Rev. Dr. Heather Jallad will be joining us in both of services as we start to dive into this year's Campmeeting theme - Greater Things.

Later that evening, we will have our first worship under the Arbor! Be sure to get out to the campground early (gates open at 6:00PM) for a dinner provided by the LV Men. Dinner will be hotdogs and a variety of sides. Rev. Jeff Rogers of Northside UMC will be joining us to give the evening message.
