The Parents First Initiative will host its first vision summit on December 3rd, 2023 at LVfirst UMC in the Family Center from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Stakeholders in the community will be present to speak about how they are involved in the initiative.

Anyone interested in participating in the program or volunteering with the Parents First Initiative is invited to attend and help cast the vision for Parents First over the next 3 years.

Earlier this year, LVfirst and the Georgia Center for Opportunity partnered to secure a grant of $1.25 million from the Lilly Endowment, Inc. This grant will span the course of three years and will establish the Parents First Initiative in our community as a program dedicated to "building stronger families by empowering parents with the confidence, tools, and skills they need to raise healthy, caring, and responsible children."
